My goal in creating these study notes was to provide a thorough set of notes that laid out industry standards and the terminology and theory that professional hairstylists are expected to know in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-follow way. It is also priced reasonably, making it much more accessible for all! Study from the comfort of your home, at the library, or in the great outdoors! These notes will save you the hassle of trying to read HUNDREDS of pages in hair textbooks in order to study for the Ontario College of Trades hair licensing exam for NOC 332A. These notes are designed to guide you in the right direction of what you should be studying and eliminating excessive and unnecessary details that I was not tested on. Save countless hours trying to read and prepare your notes and focus on studying and understanding the content. The notes are mainly in point form. If you need further instructing or help, I offer 2 hour tutoring sessions as well. These notes were compiled utilizing: - my 9 years of experience working in a salon; - condensed notes from the internationally recognized Pivot Point hair styling training textbook; - notes from a week-long preparation course; and - notes from industry standards set out by the Ontario College of Trades for the Hairstylist trade code 332A. Countless hours were spent making, typing, and condensing these notes and organizing them in a clear, straightforward fashion. These 64 pages of study notes consist of point form notes and informational charts and graphics on the following topics: - industry standards - salon sanitation - trichology - hair & scalp conditions - hair styling & sculpting/cutting - wigs & hairpieces - perms - relaxers - hair colouring & - much more!!! Sprinkled throughout these notes are also italicized tips on topics that you should pay special attention to while studying for the exam, based on content that appeared on my exam.
