Superpower Relations/Cold War 1943-49 (IGCSE Edexcel History 9-1)
In depth, detailed notes covering the relationship between America and the Soviet Union , encompassing superpower relations from World War Two to the Berlin Blockade and Airlift. Events include the Marshall Plan, the Soviet takeover of Eastern Europe and the Berlin Blockade and Airlift. This applies to the IGCSE Edexcel History 9-1 syllabus. These notes follow the general format of events presented as bullet points, as well as causes and effects of these events. Although some of the events covered overlap, I have tried to present them in chronological order. These notes do contain abbreviations such as b/c (because) and w/ (with).
